For this project, I followed a Youtube video tutorial on how to create 3D Pop Out Effect. Starting off, I found the picture of an iPhone on google images and the picture of the dog sitting on the sheep on freeimages. Next, I duplicated the sheep layer, masked the grass out on the original layer, and masked the sheep out on the duplicate layer. Next, I used the polygonal lasso tool to select the screen of the phone, and moved the sheep layers into that screen. Next, I unhid both layers and unmasked part of the duplicate layer so they were inside of the phone screen. The shape of the grass was not big enough to fit the full phone, so I used the polygonal lasso tool to select the screen, then used SHIFT+BACKSPACE to fill content aware. After the sheep image fit completely into the phone, I used a lens flare to create a light source, then duplicated the sheep and masked it to look like a shadow. Finally, I applied a Curves Adjustment Layer to give the image an orange tint.
